Marketo April Updates
I love spring – flowers blooming, birds chirping, blue sky and warmer weather. Spring brings excitement, and I am very excited about what we are creating at Marketo. We just released our April update, which includes a number of requested features and improvements. There is more to come in the next few months, so be sure to subscribe to this blog so you don’t miss out on the exciting features that will enrich your experience with Marketo.
April Updates:
- New login screen
- Segmentation filters and triggers
- Upload multiple images and files with a single click
- Reorder content in text-version of emails
- Automatic creation of confirmation URLs for GoToWebinar and WebEx
- Expanded API capabilities allowing you to insert external data into an email or flow step, such as a trial license key
To complement our new website, we have updated the Marketo Lead Management login page with a new look and feel.
In our last product update, we added a new feature for Segmentation that allowed you to create precisely targeted groups of individuals for use in personalizing content. We’ve now taken that one step further with the ability to use segments across the application. For example, do you target the same group of leads consistently? If so, you can use segmentation in your Smart Lists for targeting leads across your programs to ensure consistency.
Save time with the ability to select multiple images or files and upload them in one simple step!
Easily reorder text content blocks when using the automatic HTML to text email converter. With this new feature, you can now move text blocks up or down so that it displays in the desired order.
We’ve simplified the process for creating a unique webinar confirmation URL for each lead by adding a new {{member.webinar}} token. You will no longer have to piece together this URL using multiple tokens! This enhancement is immediately available for GoToWebinar and WebEx customers, and additional support for Adobe Connect and ON24 will be included in our next release!
- Automatically insert external values, such as a trial license key, into Marketo email content and Smart Campaign Flow steps through expanded API capabilities

Enhanced Gate Stages in the Revenue Cycle Modeler allow users to define a specific order for their transition rules to ensure no lead is lost
