So you’ve created some pretty cool videos and uploaded them to your YouTube channel, naturally. Now wait for it, wait for it…what? Still no views? Relax, we’ve found a few ways to add subscribers and increase YouTube viewership.
- Incorporate Facebook and other social media. Distribute videos via a fan page on Facebook. That way, it is easier to demographically target people with the same interests as the video. You also have the ability to automatically publish new videos to the Facebook news stream. By utilizing other social media sites, such as Facebook, your content is much more likely to be viewed on a daily basis. This is a good way to re-engage your audience and direct them back to your YouTube channel.
- Add a human aspect. People want to connect with other people. So, for example, if you have webinar with tips, tricks and best practices, instead of displaying slides, have someone read those tips to the camera. You should also personalize your channel to make it look more unique and different from the standard YouTube channel.
- Create good content. Make something people want to watch, and optimize that content for search. If you create something interesting that people want to watch, naturally they will want to share it with others.
